✶ About Ashley Obscura

Ashley Obscura is a poet, publisher, and interdisciplinary artist working at the intersection of language, technology, and mysticism. She is the founder of the experimental literary house Metatron Press and the creative force behind intermedia poetry projects like Museum of Symmetry (VR), Songs of the Lost (Desktop Game) and, more recently, QUALIA — a poetic technology project exploring AI, digital consciousness, and ritual text. She is the author of several collections including Ambient Technology, Sexo por última vez, and I Am Here.

Her writing orbits themes of presence, planetary grief, divine glitches, and belief in impossible futures. Often working across media, her practice spans print publishing, sound poetry, immersive storytelling, and generative AI — always with a devotion to poetry as a site of transmission, care, and transformation.

Originally from the Canadian prairies and currently based in Montreal, this space — Codex Obscura — is her latest dispatch. A vulnerable poetic newsletter for our algorithmic age.
